Statement of Faith
What We Believe
The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21)
There is one God, the Holy Trinity, eternally existent as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died and rose again on the third day, ascended, took his place at the right hand of the Father and will return in power and glory. (John 10:33, Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 4:15, Acts 2:22, Acts 1:6-11, Mark 16:19, Revelation 19:11)
Salvation is through Jesus Christ; not by works of the flesh but by grace bestowed upon mankind by the death and resurrection of Christ. (Romans 10:9–10)
The Holy Spirit is dwelling with us on the earth today, carrying on the work from the day of Pentecost empowering believers to live a Christ-like life. (Acts 2:33)
In water baptism as was given by example through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4:5)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God which empowers believers to live in the will of God. (Acts 1:8)
We are God’s creation and our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. God has entrusted us to be responsible for the proper care of His temple and what we consume, both physically and spiritually, should be in line with the building up of His temple. (1 Corinthians 6:19)
